A K-12 school in Arvada, CO, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for students throughout the academic year. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations for students to identify needs and develop tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and success
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, reports, and assessments in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participating in meetings and ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings providing SLP services to a diverse student population
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly seen in pediatric populations
- Ability to plan and implement effective therapy interventions and IEP goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and team members
